Upholding our commitment to privacy, security, and compliance

Updated as of April 20, 2026
Every day, Findem helps connect job seekers with employers, using a data-driven approach grounded in real-world expertise. Fundamental to that mission is the safety and protection of our client and partner data.
Recently, we’ve received questions around portions of our Privacy Policy and website practices, a conversation we appreciate and take extremely seriously. Reports that claim or suggest Findem has not been responsive to personal data requests are completely inaccurate.
Moreover, while we keep and use data to intelligently match candidates with employment opportunities and assist employers with workforce planning, we want to be clear: Findem is not a data monetization platform. Unlike traditional data brokers, whose business model is built on selling personal information as a product, we use data as an input to create better matches between candidates and opportunities.
We allow all consumers to opt out of having their data used for employment purposes, regardless of the data privacy laws where they live. We've also worked to make that process as simple as possible — earlier this year, we simplified our opt-out form to require only an email address, and our opt-out page is now searchable and linked from the footer of every page on our website.
When we receive a request, our data operations team makes sure the request was properly authorized by a consumer, matches it against our records, and deletes any personal data we have related to the request. We then follow up with the consumer summarizing what we did and why.
In 2025, we processed 100% of 418,096 total data subject requests within ten days of receiving them. We denied four because they weren’t made by authorized consumers, took action on 81,481, and confirmed we did not have personal data for the remaining 336,611 (80%).
Protecting data and respecting the right to privacy are central to how we operate, and to our clients’ and partners’ success. We continuously review our privacy policies and practices to ensure they meet both relevant laws and the broader standard of trust our users place in us.
